What is Skills Works?

Skills Works makes it easier to discover where to learn new skills, but is also about supporting creative practitioners and arts organisations to run workshops, share skills and create learning opportunities through informal classes or courses.

You might just love showing people how to do or make; teaching pop ups as an extension of your practice; setting up classes as an additional revenue stream in your organisation; or have a range of courses on offer as a public learning or adult education programme.

Who can list on Skills Works?

We list workshops run by individuals, micro businesses and arts organisations through to continuing education courses run by local colleges, art schools and universities. You can find out if your courses are eligible in our Education Guidelines.

Why start Skill Sharing?

Running courses, classes or workshops is a great way to start educating your community and get others excited about what you do. It can also be a brilliant opportunity to bring an additional income to your practice or organisation. Find out more in our Skill Sharing Handbook.
